Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to make a significant impact within a leading global organization? Isentia, a Pulsar Group company, is looking for a Financial Accountant to join our team in Malaysia.

Our Finance team acts as a vital enablement partner, providing the strategic reporting and support services that drive the Isentia strategy forward. In this role, you will support the growth of the Group/ANZ region by providing comprehensive financial services that align with our corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Month-End: Actively lead month-end processing, including journals, revenue deferrals, and drafting critical reports such as Cash Flow and Loan Covenants.
Sales Commission Management: Drive the validation and calculation of sales commissions, ensuring they meet policy criteria and providing key analysis to the Leadership Team.

Asset Management: Maintain the fixed asset register, monitor depreciation, and perform WIP reconciliations and impairment assessments.
Statutory & Compliance: Prepare statutory financial statements, assist with half-year and year-end audit queries, and ensure adherence to all local legislative requirements.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Contribute to the budget process, cash flow reforecasting, and the assessment of the latest accounting standards.

About You

We are looking for an ambitious, high-energy individual who thrives under pressure and is committed to continuous improvement.

Education: You hold an Accounting degree and are currently pursuing your CA or CPA qualification.

Technical Skills: You have a strong understanding of accounting principles and are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Salesforce, and NetSuite.

Communication: You possess strong organizational ability and the communication skills necessary to lead commission meetings and build relationships with key business partners.

Qualities: You have an eagle eye for detail, the ability to meet strict deadlines, and the confidence to challenge current processes to drive efficiency.
